1- Make a goal:

Math is an important subject because it can help to achieve merit. In this, a little hard work can do a lot better. The trend of Math’s paper has been changed over in class 12th from 2-3 years. 2- Tricks to solve Math Easily:

Learning techniques on how to do Math quickly can help you develop greater confidence. Here are some fast math strategies which you can use to do math. Once these strategies are mastered, you will be able to accurately and confidently solve math problems that you once feared solving. For example, you can add large numbers by taking round off them or you can subtract large numbers from 1000. You can use multiply tricks by breaking down numbers. Division tricks (divisibility rules) are also helpful to get answer easily. Try to remember various concepts using mnemonics like:

  • FANBOYS- (coordinating conjunctions) for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so
  • PEMDAS-(order of math operations) parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction
  • ILATE- (Integral) (Inverse, Logarithmic, Algebraic, Trigonometric, Exponent)

You can also make your own mnemonics that will help you in absorbing the key points. These math tricks help you to do the calculation fast. It saves time and increases the chances of scoring marks in the exams.

3- Practice with planning:

Keep attempting to clarify the fundamentals and concepts in Math and practice solving questions. This will give you confidence. Try the first traditional method to solve any problem. When you caught it, and then use the shortcut method to increase your speed. Calculations can be lengthy. Therefore, you should have proper management of time during the exam. Therefore, remember the short cut of basic calculations. You should know your weaknesses.

4- Follow Schedule:

Make a schedule for your studies and follow them honestly. Decide the total no. of hours you should devote to your studies and further divide them topic-wise. Practicing previous year papers of NCERT can help in familiarizing you with pattern of exam. You can check your level of preparation, and build speed and accuracy. It will enhance your question solving skills and boost your confidence.

 

6- Prepare for the exam day:

You get good 15 minutes in the beginning to read the question paper. Use the time to mark the questions with a choice; i.e. the one you are more confident in attempting, to avoid any confusion, and to save time while attempting the comparatively difficult questions. You must be aware to any verbal instructions from the instructor or any messages written on the board.

Ensure that you have filled your particulars in the answer sheets correctly, and the right question number is written against each answer. Stick to the general instructions given in the question paper. This will help you finish the paper well in time. Manage your time accordingly without anxiety. Schedule your time in such way that you get some more time to go through the entire answer sheet again to avoid the possible mistakes.
