The Conjunction
A conjunction is a word that links other words, phrases, or clauses together. Common conjunctions are ‘and’, ‘or’ and ‘but’. The conjunctions are used to join the two sentences or two words or even phrases and sentences. There are different types of conjunctions like coordinating conjunctions, subordinating conjunctions, and also correlative conjunctions. These conjunction words make a link between among words or the groups of words to the other parts of the sentences and show the relationship among them as well. The various types of conjunctions are also used in parallel sentences.
